The first Craft Mafia was founded in 2003 by nine crafty business women in Austin, TX. The group originally came together through a shared love for craft, do-it-yourself ethics, and mutual respect. As the Craft Mafia developed, it became a forum for networking, promotion, and shared ideas. Since it's development in Austin, other Craft Mafias have popped up across the globe, and we are the Phoenix chapter! |

The Phoenix Craft Mafia was founded in the Spring of 2007. Our mission is to create a supportive environment for local crafters to promote and sell their items. Our Craft Mafia is a social network created to share resources & make friends. As a group we combine our collective talents to host events locally. We are working to uncover the 'indie' culture in the Phoenix area. |

Do you have a craft that is unique to the group?
We welcome local crafters that wish to be
positive & productive members of the Phoenix Craft
Mafia!
Our requirements for joining are:
1) You have to reside in the Phoenix vicinity. We cannot accept members living in other cities.
2) You must sell your crafts for money...whether it's an online outlet or in a brick and mortar store.
3) You need to be legally in business or planning to be soon. We do provide
assistance and advice to members that would like to grow their business and become properly licensed.
If you fit these requirements then we encourage you to apply for membership. All applicants will be considered and will be notified of approval.
Benefits of being a member are:
1) Discount vendor fees at shows
2) Social networking and friends
3) Business mentoring and education
4) It's fun!!
All members are expected to participate in group meetings, elections and events. All members will also be expected to pay membership dues of $15-20 annually.
